The Bosch S4 029 is a 12V, 95Ah standard flooded battery rated at 830A CCA (EN), engineered to meet those demands in conventional petrol and diesel vehicles that do not utilise start-stop technology.
Manufactured using Bosch's full frame grid technology, the S4 029 distributes current evenly across the plate surface to reduce internal resistance and slow the rate of active material shedding. The flushed, sealed top cover minimises the risk of acid leakage during transit and service life, whilst cast-on strap construction strengthens the connection between plates and terminals for consistent electrical performance over time.
The battery measures 306mm × 173mm – 225mm (L × W × H) and weighs 20.73 kg. It is fitted with a Type 1 terminal arrangement and B01 hold-down specification, with polarity code 1 (positive terminal right).
