The Sealey SSP23 welding blanket provides a practical barrier against this hazard, constructed from silicone-coated glass fibre and tested to BS 476 Pt.1, Pt.7, Pt.20 and meeting UK Building Regulations Class 0. It will withstand temperatures of up to 800°C, giving reliable thermal protection during welding and cutting tasks. Measuring 1800mm x 1300mm, the blanket is a practical size for covering adjacent panels, floor areas, or nearby components in garages and workshops. Two eyelets allow it to be hung in place where needed, keeping it securely positioned during use.
