Working with a pillar press without adequate guarding puts both the operator and anyone nearby at risk should a workpiece become dislodged under load. The Sealey PPFSG3 Safety Guard is designed specifically for the PPF501S pillar press and provides reliable protection through a lightweight steel frame fitted with a tough 4.8mm polycarbonate screen. The adjustable guard bolts onto either side of the press table and offers six height increments, so the workpiece can be positioned on the table without obstruction. Once in place, one-way spring-loaded locking clips allow the guard to be pulled up quickly and snap straight into position, giving full protection during operation. The PPFSG3 is a straightforward retrofit that significantly improves workshop safety around the PPF501S.
