When pressing components under load, an accidentally dislodged workpiece can cause serious injury to the operator or anyone nearby. The Sealey PPBSG is a purpose-designed safety guard for the Sealey PPB15S bench press, providing a protective barrier between the user and the workpiece throughout the pressing operation. The guard features a lightweight steel frame fitted with a tough 4.8mm polycarbonate screen, and bolts securely onto either side of the table. Four height increments allow the guard to be lowered out of the way so the workpiece can be positioned on the table without obstruction. One-way spring-loaded locking clips then allow the guard to be pulled up quickly and snapped straight into the protective position in a single action. The adjustable design ensures the guard can protect both the operator and any passer-by in the event of an unexpected release under load.
