Electricians and EV technicians working on live systems face serious risk of electric shock if their tools lack proper insulation. The Sealey TBTE09 is a 3-piece VDE-approved insulated cutting set designed for safe live working, fully insulated to VDE and EN 60900 standards to protect against electric shocks up to 1500V DC and 1000V AC. The set includes an insulated cable knife with a 50mm stainless steel blade for efficient cable stripping whilst protecting internal wiring, insulated scissors, and insulated heavy-duty pliers, all featuring soft grip handles for comfort and control. All components are chrome plated for corrosion resistance. The set is particularly well suited to technicians working on modern hybrid and electric vehicles, as well as electricians and other trades requiring VDE-rated tools. Supplied with an EVA foam storage tray (175 x 395 x 30mm) featuring cut-out sections for each component, and backed by a lifetime guarantee.
