Aligning the oil pump and balance shaft on BMW N20 and N26 2.0L chain-drive engines demands precision tooling incorrect alignment during reassembly can cause serious engine damage. The Sealey VSE6198 Oil Pump & Balance Shaft Alignment Kit provides the dedicated tooling required to carry out this job accurately on a wide range of BMW models fitted with the N20 or N26 2.0L engine, including selected 1 Series, 2 Series, 3 Series, 4 Series, 5 Series, X1, X3, X4 and Z4 variants produced between 2011 and 2018. The kit replaces OEM tools 22.12.825, 23.18.117 and 11.4.120, ensuring workshop-standard results without the OEM price tag. It must be used in conjunction with the Sealey VSE6188 Timing Tool Kit to complete the full timing and alignment procedure. The full list of compatible engine codes includes N20B20, N20B20A, N20B20B, N20B20/UO, N20B20O0 and N26B20. Supplied complete with instructions and stored in a protective carry case for safe keeping and easy access in the workshop.
