When nuts and bolts are buried deep in an engine bay or air tools simply cannot reach, getting the torque needed to break them free becomes a real challenge. The Sealey VS786 Impact Bar is specially designed for exactly these situations allowing you to apply sudden shock force to stubborn fasteners without the need for a compressed air supply. Particularly ideal for loosening crankshaft pulley bolts, the 550mm length gives you access where standard tools cannot reach. To use, fit the required impact socket to the 1/2" square drive, hold the arm at a right angle to the shaft to maximise torque transfer, then strike the top of the tool firmly with a hammer to shock the nut or bolt loose. A built-in hand guard provides extra safety during use.
