Transferring waste oil from a drain unit to a remote storage point is often awkward and messy without the right equipment. The Sealey AK450DP Pump Away Station solves this by adding air-powered pumping capability to the AK450DX oil drain unit, allowing waste oil to be piped directly to a storage point sited out of the workshop. The unit uses a 1:1 air-operated oil pump delivering 60 litres per minute at 90psi, with an operating air pressure range of 30 to 120psi and an air consumption of 8.8cfm. Everything needed for installation is included: a wall mounting bracket, a 2m flexible hose with dry-fit male and female quick couplings to connect to the AK450DX drain unit, and a 2m flexible air supply hose complete with filter, lubricator and regulator assembly. The pump can be plumbed into a run of pipework to route waste oil away from the working area entirely.
