Diagnosing battery and alternator faults without the right equipment leads to guesswork, misdiagnosis, and unnecessary parts replacement. The Sealey BT2003 Digital Battery and Alternator Tester provides professional-level diagnosis with the added facility to print results directly from the unit removing any ambiguity when presenting findings to a customer. It can test battery condition with as little as 1V of residual charge across a voltage range of 1.5-30V, supporting rated battery voltages of 6V and 12V. Test ranges cover 40-2100 CCA (EN), 40-2000 CCA (SAE), 30-1500 CCA (IEC), and 25-1300 CCA (DIN), as well as JIS by battery type, making it compatible with a broad range of battery rating systems. The BT2003 also analyses the charging system at rest and under load on 12V and 24V systems to assess alternator condition with no complicated connections or interpretation required. A 2-line, 16-character LCD screen guides the user through testing with clear prompts, and a simple voltmeter function supports additional system diagnostics. The unit features rugged construction and is supplied in a storage case complete with two rolls of printing paper and an instruction manual. Requires 4 x AA batteries (not included). Replacement printing rolls are available under consumable part BT2003.V2-01.
