Loose or mismatched hose connections cause air leaks and wasted pressure. The PCL HC2192/2181 is a coned tailpiece and union nut combination designed to connect 9.5 mm (3/8 in) internal-diameter hose to a female Rp 3/8 threaded port, supplied display packed for trade counter use. PCL manufacture this fitting in Sheffield and have done so since 1938, as part of the HORNGROUP.
The fitting is constructed from hardened steel with a corrosion-resistant plating, providing durability in demanding workshop environments. The swivel union nut allows the hose tail to be oriented correctly before the joint is tightened, reducing installation strain on the hose.
The HC2192/2181 is a female swivel hose tail adaptor — a permanent hose-end fitting that accepts Rp 3/8 threaded connections. It is suited to compressed-air hose assemblies in automotive, workshop, and general industrial applications where a reliable, leak-free hose termination is required.
