Retractable air hose reels on petrol filling station inflation towers can place lateral stress on TPMS valve stems, causing breakages and damage. The PCL CO21A01 is an in-line hold-on FLEXI Tyre Valve Connector with an open-end style and Rp 1/4 inlet, designed to eradicate the problem of TPMS valve stem breakages caused by retractable hose reels at forecourt air towers.
The CO21A01 features a twin hold-on, TPMS-friendly design that absorbs the directional forces a retractable hose reel exerts on the valve stem during inflation. The open-end connector style accommodates a secure, positive hold on the tyre valve whilst the flexible inline construction allows movement between the hose and the valve.
This connector can be retro-fitted quickly and easily to existing air hose reels on petrol filling station air towers, or installed at the point of manufacture as a straightforward solution for forecourt operators. It is suited to inflation towers wherever TPMS-equipped vehicles are regularly serviced.
