The PCL HA5214 is a polyurethane coiled hose assembly, blue, supplying 7.5 metres of 6.5 mm internal-diameter hose fitted with male thread R 1/4 swivel ends — manufactured in Sheffield since 1938 and part of the HORNGROUP. Polyurethane construction is chosen over nylon for its wider effective working temperature range and its resistance to kinking, abrasion, and oil exposure. The 360° nickel-plated swivel fittings allow the hose to be used in any direction without twisting, aiding airflow and protecting tool connections. The hose recoils to a fraction of its extended working length, keeping the work area clear of entanglements and reducing trip hazards. The blue colouring allows straightforward identification in busy workshop environments where multiple hose runs may be in use. The assembly measures 10 mm outside diameter.
