Product Number: 68261
Garden borders and planted beds benefit most from slow, targeted watering that delivers moisture directly to root zones rather than saturating foliage or losing water to runoff. The Draper 68261 perforated soaker hose is designed precisely for this purpose, with a 12mm bore diameter and 15 metres of length to suit a wide range of border layouts. The hose can be laid on the surface of the garden soil or buried beneath it, allowing water to seep gradually through its perforations and irrigate the surrounding area. This approach suits permanent installation in established borders, where the hose remains in position and is connected to a supply whenever irrigation is required. Supplied as a complete starter kit, the hose comes with a two-way coupling and two half-inch hose connectors, one of which features a water stop. This allows straightforward connection to a standard garden water supply and convenient flow control without the need to return to the tap. The hose is finished in black and arrives shrink wrapped with a product label. No additional connectors are required for basic installation, making this a practical solution for gardeners looking to establish a low-maintenance border irrigation setup.
