When a ratcheting breaker bar needs to reach fasteners at awkward angles, the pivot joint becomes the critical link in the chain. The Sealey AK7316RK is the dedicated ratcheting knuckle joint for the AK7316 1/2" Square Drive Ratcheting Extendable Breaker Bar, engineered to maintain the bar's ratcheting function even when working around obstructions. The 36-tooth ratchet mechanism requires only 10° of rotation to engage the next tooth, a particular advantage when swinging a long breaker bar in a confined space. A 3-position control ring provides anticlockwise ratcheting, clockwise ratcheting, and a fully locked position for solid drive work. The phosphate finish provides corrosion resistance for workshop durability. Please note: knuckle joints are treated as consumable items and are not covered by the lifetime guarantee.
