Variations
A cable tie is a temporary answer to a permanent question - fixed runs need a bolted, lined clip.
Sized at 48mm closed diameter with a 6.6mm hole for an M6 bolt, the PCZR48BG fixes pipes, hoses and cables to panels, frames and structures. Its standard TPE liner - rated -30C to +60C - cushions the line against vibration and chafe and resists UV and ozone, while the ribbed band sits flush to the surface it is bolted to. Nuts and bolts are not included.
Heavily zinc plated over mild steel with the plating applied after cutting, it is the everyday fixing for engine bays, chassis runs and workshop pipework in non-corrosive conditions; for persistently wet or salty duty the dimensionally identical stainless version is the straight swap. The standard liner's -30C to +60C rating covers general routing duty; where temperatures climb higher, the dimensionally identical high-temperature version takes over.
Also available - the high-temperature liner version (PCZH48BG); the 304 stainless version (PCSR48BG); the 44mm size (PCZR44BG); the 52mm size (PCZR52BG).
Non-standard sizes and liners are available from JCS on request - this catalogue size is the stocked, off-the-shelf format.

A. P-clips are sized by closed diameter, and this one closes at 48mm - so it suits a pipe, hose or cable with a 48mm outside diameter. Measure the OD, not the bore; non-standard sizes are available from JCS on request.
A. The standard TPE liner absorbs vibration and prevents chafing of the item being clamped. It is UV and ozone resistant and rated for service from -30C to +60C.
A. No - fixing nuts and bolts are not supplied. The clip has a 6.6mm hole to suit an M6 bolt.
A. Pick by environment, not fit: 304 stainless for outdoor, wet or corrosive runs, zinc plated (coated even on the cut edges) for general indoor and light industrial work. The two are dimensionally identical, so the mounting never changes.
A. The TPE liner is UV and ozone resistant, and the clip is available in heavily zinc plated steel or 304 stainless steel for outdoor and corrosive environments - choose stainless where conditions are persistently wet, and match the closed diameter to the tube you are fixing.
A. Yes - the design brief covers pipes, hoses and cables alike. The liner cushions the sheath against chafe and vibration, which matters as much on an armoured cable or air line as on a coolant hose. Size by outside diameter.
