At bulk quantity, stainless is a standardisation decision - one corrosion-proof specification across every wet joint on site.
Worm drive clips seal by drawing the band evenly through a captive screw housing, and the HGS360BP adds the JCS details that make that reliable - a 330-360mm adjustment span, a cold-headed, work-hardened hex screw with rolled threads that will not round off, and fully rounded band edges. Recommended tightening torque for this size is 6.0 Nm (54 lb-in). Manufactured to exceed BS5315, Kitemarked and NATO approved.
The bulk box of 5 puts one corrosion-proof specification across the whole site - every component 18/8 (EN 1.4301) 304 stainless, salt mist tested, with Lloyd's Register Type Approval for marine, offshore and industrial service. JCS stainless clips are used across pumping, stormwater, wastewater treatment and irrigation plant.
Also available - the 310-340mm size (HGS340BP); the 350-380mm size (HGS380BP); a zinc plated version in the same size and pack (HGZ360BP).
Lloyd's Register Type Approval on a stocked bulk pack is rare at any price point.
JCS recommends letting the application decide - what the hose carries, the temperature and pressure it sees, and how corrosive the environment is - then matching the clip's adjustment range to the fitted hose diameter.

A. This size spans 330-360mm of fitted hose outside diameter. Measure the hose over its fitting, not the bare bore - anywhere inside 330-360mm and the HGS360BP is the right clip. One JCS size covers a span that would take two fixed nut-and-bolt clamps.
A. For this size band JCS publishes a recommended torque of 6.0 Nm (54 lb-in). Work up to it gradually with the clip seated centrally on the barb; going past it risks damaging the hose rather than improving the seal.
A. Yes - every component is the same grade of stainless steel, verified through JCS's salt mist testing, so there is no mixed-metal weak point to corrode first.

A. Hi-Grip 304 stainless is marine-quality 18/8 steel with Lloyd's Register Type Approval and is suited to saltwater service.
