For seasoned softwood and small-diameter hardwood (under 200mm), 4-6 tonne electric splitters handle most domestic and small-trade use. Yes. Replacement blades, sanding belts and discs, planer blades, and other wood-working consumables are available for the majority of Draper, SIP, and Sealey wood-working machines. Match the blade by diameter, arbor (centre hole), tooth count, and tooth profile (TCT for general work, alternate-bevel for fine cuts, ripping-tooth for fast cuts). Each Chicago Pneumatic woodworking tool has a rated air consumption listed on its product page (in CFM or L/min) and a working pressure (typically 6.2 bar / 90 PSI). Size your compressor to deliver at least 25% more than the tool's rated CFM at 90 PSI.
