FAQs

Start with the machine, not the part name. Find the model or product number on the machine's rating plate or manual, then look for the spare listed against that number. Many names here are generic, such as 'SWITCH ASSEMBLY', 'BLADE' or 'MOTOR', while some state the machine, for example 'Anti-Foam Filter for 53006', so the number is what confirms the fit.

The spares are grouped by the kind of machine they belong to: Machine Tool, Compressor, Air & Welding, Workshop Equipment & Storage, Pressure Washer & Pump, Power Tool, Garden & Outdoor, Hand Tool and Generator Spares. Choose the group your machine falls into, then match the part to the machine's model or product number, because these parts are specific to each machine.

An assembly is a group of components supplied together as one unit, such as the switch, gear, motor, handle and wheel assemblies listed here, rather than a single loose part. Some are sold as a pair. Check the parts diagram for your machine to see what the assembly includes, and order it by the machine's model or product number.

Carbon brushes pass current to the spinning armature in a brushed motor and wear down in use, so they are a routine replacement on power tools. They are shaped for a particular tool: names here include 'Brushes for PL750/83638' and 'Brushes for IW100SF / 82994'. Replace them as a pair and match them to your machine's model or product number.

Many bearings here carry a standard bearing number in the name, such as 6201, 6003ZZ or 6006-ZZ, and the Bore filter lists sizes such as 10mm, 12mm, 15mm, 17mm, 20mm and 25mm. Read the number on the old bearing and measure its bore, then confirm it against the parts list for your machine's model or product number before ordering, as the same machine can use several different bearings.

A ratchet repair kit holds the wearing parts of the ratchet head for one particular ratchet, which the name states, for example 'Ratchet Repair Kit for 02715'. The Drive filter narrows the list by 1/4, 3/8, 1/2, 3/4 or 1 inch, but drive size alone does not confirm the fit, so match the kit to the product number of your ratchet.

Draper Parts & Spares

Draper spares run the biggest estate in parts and spares, over 6,800 parts across eight sections: machine tool spares, compressor, air and welding, workshop equipment and storage, pressure washer and pump, power tool, garden and outdoor, hand tool, and generator spares, every one of them working the same way. The code is everything here, and there are two kinds working together. Every Draper product carries a Stock Number, and every machine's manual carries a parts list where each internal part has its own code. Either number typed into search finds the part directly, which matters at this scale: a leaf of two thousand collets, boards and washers is searched by code, not browsed. The Compatible tab confirms a part against its machines, and the drop down selector on Draper parts lists everything compatible with a machine in one view. The estate maps to what Draper machines wear. Machine tool spares carry the lathe and saw internals. The compressor, air and welding shelf runs from O rings and valve plates to rotor blades. Power tool spares are the carbon brush capital of the site, brushes, holders and complete assemblies, with armatures, switches, gears and chucks beside them. Pressure washer and pump spares carry seal kits and cylinder heads, workshop equipment the ratchet repair kits and dust bags, and the garden, hand tool and generator shelves finish the run. Where the code is missing, the machine gives it back: the Stock Number on the machine plate with a photo of the old part over WhatsApp on 07754288583 gets the part identified from the parts list, and older or discontinued Draper machines, the commonest enquiry at this scale, are answered honestly the same way.
