Worn or inaccurate tyre inflators slow workshop throughput and undermine pressure confidence. The PCL AFG4H04 is a linear tyre inflator from the AIRFORCE® MK4 series, fitted with a 0.53 m (21 in) hose and a single clip-on tyre valve connector, designed for professional workshop tyre servicing. The AIRFORCE® MK4 features a 20% larger viewing window for improved scale legibility under workshop conditions. The gauge body weighs 923 g, reducing work strain during repetitive use. A biomorphic, ergonomic body shape is designed to be easier to hold and less prone to damage if dropped. The two-stage valve mechanism eliminates the need for the user to push against full line pressure during deflation, reducing fatigue in high-volume use. The improved piston and seal design reduces internal drag, friction, and movement inertia, which PCL state prevents internal corrosion, sticking, and accuracy skew. The AIRFORCE® MK4 is calibrated across a range of 0–138 psi / 0–9.6 bar and accepts a maximum inlet pressure of 200 psi / 13.8 bar. Accuracy is compliant with BS EN 12645:2014, and PCL state the product has been tested to over 400,000 cycles at 100% accuracy. Flow rate is 500 l/min at 13 bar supply pressure. The inlet and outlet connection is Rp 1/4. The operating temperature range is -10°C to 60°C. Display resolution is 2 psi / 0.1 bar. The AFG4H04 single clip-on variant sits alongside other AIRFORCE® MK4 configurations; buyers requiring a dual clip-on or alternative hose length should check the full MK4 range for the appropriate model. The AFG4H04 is manufactured in Sheffield, UK. PCL state it succeeds the previous ALG3H04.
