Worn or inaccurate tyre pressure equipment costs time and reduces service quality. The PCL AFG4H03 is the AIRFORCE® MK4 linear tyre inflator, fitted with a 0.53 m (21 in) hose and twin hold-on tyre valve connector, designed for professional workshop tyre servicing. The AIRFORCE® MK4 features a two-stage valve mechanism that, according to PCL, prevents the user having to push against full line pressure during deflation, reducing operator fatigue. A biomorphic gauge body weighing 923 g provides an ergonomic grip and is less prone to damage if dropped. The viewing window has been enlarged to give 20% greater field of view compared to its predecessor, making the scale easier to read in workshop conditions. An improved piston and seal design reduces internal friction and drag, which PCL state eliminates internal corrosion, sticking, and accuracy skew over the product's service life. The AFG4H03 calibrates across a range of 0–138 psi / 0–9.6 bar with a display resolution of 2 psi / 0.1 bar, and accepts a maximum inlet pressure of 200 psi / 13.8 bar. The Rp 1/4 inlet/outlet connection is standard across the AIRFORCE® MK4 range. Flow rate is 500 l/min at 13 bar supply, and the unit operates across a temperature range of -10°C to 60°C. Accuracy is compliant with BS EN 12645:2014, and PCL state the gauge is tested to over 400,000 cycles at 100% accuracy. The AFG4H03 replaces the earlier ALG3H03. The AIRFORCE® MK4 range is also available in alternative hose-length and connector configurations — consult the product page for sibling variants. The AFG4H03 is manufactured in Sheffield, UK, by PCL, part of HORNGROUP, continuing a manufacturing heritage dating from 1938.
