A worn or unread tyre valve connection wastes time and gives unreliable results. The PCL TPG1H17 is a pencil-style analogue tyre pressure gauge with an angled head, calibrated across a range of 6–50 psi and 0.5–3.4 bar, suited to workshop and roadside tyre checking.
The gauge uses a traditional analogue mechanism that requires no batteries, making it ready for use at any time and in any conditions. An angled head allows the gauge to seat onto the tyre valve at 90 degrees for easier access. A self-adjusting friction device holds the reading after the gauge is removed from the valve, so the pressure can be read clearly without rushing, and a positive sealing washer supports reliable connection.
Accuracy is stated at ±2 psi, with a display resolution of 1 psi and 0.1 bar. The TPG1H17 is supplied in a storage tin, providing convenient protection when not in use. The gauge is manufactured in Sheffield by PCL, part of HORNGROUP, with UK manufacture dating back to 1938.
