Inaccurate tyre pressures cost time and reduce safety margins. The PCL DTI081 is a mid-range digital tyre inflator gauge fitted with a 0.53 m (21") hose and Euro clip-on valve connector, designed for professional workshop tyre inflation across all common tyre types. The DTI081 operates via a hand trigger for inflation and a thumb-operated deflate button, enabling precise pressure adjustment without overshoot. An LCD display with backlight supports use in low-visibility areas, and a battery level indicator keeps the operator informed. An auto power-off function preserves battery life during periods of inactivity. The gauge accepts an Rp 1/4 inlet connection and is rated to a maximum inlet pressure of 218 psi (15 bar / 1,500 kPa). Calibration covers the range 5–170 psi (0.34–12 bar / 34–1,200 kPa), with a display resolution of 0.1 psi / 0.01 bar / 1 kPa. Accuracy is stated at ±1 psi up to 60 psi, ±2 psi up to 145 psi, and ±3 psi up to 170 psi. Each unit is individually serialised and supplied with a calibration certificate traceable to international standards. Flow rate is 910 l/min at 13 bar supply. PCL position the DTI as their mid-range 'better' alternative to the premium ACCURA 1, making electronic inflation accessible at a lower entry point. The DTI081 is manufactured by PCL in Sheffield, where the company has produced compressed-air equipment since 1938, as part of the HORNGROUP.
