Van Racking

FilterFilters
View as Grid List

Van racking is not chosen by size, it is chosen by vehicle. Four things have to match before anything else matters: make, model, wheelbase length and roof height. A unit built for one combination will not fit another even from the same manufacturer. That makes van racking closer to a vehicle part than to workshop storage in how it is selected.

Wheelbase length is given as L1, L2 or L3 and roof height as H1 or H2, and those codes appear on the vehicle documentation as well as the racking. The same model in L1 and L2 has a different load space length, so the racking that fits one leaves a gap or fouls the doors on the other.

Year range matters as much as the codes. A Citroen Berlingo from 2018 onwards has a different load space from the model before it, which is why the listings state the year the fitment applies from rather than just the model name. Bracket and golf-shelf variants also exist within the same vehicle fitment, changing what the unit holds rather than where it fits.

Once the vehicle is matched, overall unit width and maximum load per shelf are the working figures. Width has to clear the wheel arches, and load per shelf is what the racking will actually carry rather than a total for the unit. Send the V5 details to 07754288583 on WhatsApp. Near side and off side units differ as well, since the load space is not symmetrical in most vans.
