Capacity on a trestle is quoted per trestle rather than per pair, so a pair rated at 200kg each carries twice that between them. That is worth reading carefully, because trestles are almost always used in pairs and the figure on the listing describes one. Reading it as a pair figure is the common error and it halves the working margin.
Folding matters more than capacity in a shared bay. A trestle that folds flat goes behind a door between jobs; one that does not occupies floor permanently. Fold down trestles are held at 100kg and 200kg in both single and pair forms. Trestles are also easier to store in pairs than a single bench of the same working area.
Telescopic legs set the working height and level the pair on ground that is not flat.
