The KNIPEX 97 91 04 V01 Tool Case for Photovoltaics brings together a complete, factory-calibrated set of seven specialist tools in a single shock-resistant plastic case, enabling installers and electricians to carry out the full MC4 solar cable connector termination process with confidence. At the heart of the kit is the KNIPEX Crimp System Pliers 97 43 200 A, fitted with exchangeable crimping dies and calibrated to precise crimping pressure at the factory. Accompanying the pliers is the KNIPEX Crimping Die 97 49 66 for solar cable connectors MC4 (Multi-Contact), covering a range of 2.5 to 6.0 mm², together with the matching Locator 97 49 66 1 and the Set of Mounting Tools 97 49 66 2 for MC4 connector assembly. Cable preparation is handled by the KNIPEX Cable Shears 95 16 165, rated for copper cables up to 15 mm diameter and 50 mm², and the KNIPEX Precision Insulation Stripper 12 12 11, supplied with adapted blades covering stripping capacities of 1.5, 2.5, 4.0, and 6.0 mm². A hexagonal key for die changes is also included. All tools are housed in the KNIPEX Tool Case for Photovoltaics 97 91 01 LE, which features a foam insert with precise recesses for the tools, crimping dies, and locators. External case dimensions are 345 mm wide × 80 mm high × 280 mm deep.
