Oil displacement per stroke is what decides how long a job takes rather than how much force is available. Pressure is what generates the force, and at 700 bar across this range that figure is common. Displacement is what varies, from 1.0 cm3 up to 4.0 cm3 per stroke. A pump with generous pressure and small displacement takes a great many strokes to reach the load.
Two speed pumps address the same problem more directly. The first stage moves a large volume at low pressure to close the gap quickly, then the pump switches to a small volume at high pressure to do the actual work. That removes most of the wasted pumping. Both figures are stated per pump so the two can be read against each other rather than separately.
Body material affects handling rather than performance. An aluminium pump is far lighter to carry to the work, which matters where the pump goes to the job rather than the job coming to a bench. Aluminium bodies are held at two speed and at the same 700 bar as the steel pumps.
Modular and tankless pumps mount into equipment rather than standing alone, and air driven units remove hand pumping where an air line is available.
