Stripped or damaged fastener heads remain a persistent problem when using inferior tools on TX-STAR® and TX-STAR® Security fixings — poor tip fit leads to cam-out, rounding, and costly downtime. The Draper 34251 set addresses this directly with sand-blasted tips that seat firmly in the fastener recess, reducing slip and improving torque transfer during use. The blades are manufactured from chrome vanadium steel, hardened and tempered for durability, and finished with a satin chrome plated coating that resists corrosion in workshop environments. The soft grip handles incorporate moulded inserts for a secure, comfortable hold across a range of tightening and loosening tasks. The set contains eight pieces covering both standard TX-STAR® and TX-STAR® Security (tamperproof) profiles: T8, T10T, T15T, T20T, T25T, T27T, T30T, and T40T. The inclusion of tamperproof sizes makes this set suitable for applications where anti-tamper fasteners are fitted as standard, such as in automotive, electronic, and industrial equipment maintenance. With chrome vanadium blades, satin chrome finish, sand-blasted tips, and soft grip handles with moulded inserts, the set provides a well-specified solution for TX-STAR® fastener work across professional workshop and field service applications.
Chrome vanadium steel blades hardened, tempered with satin chrome plated finish and sand blasted tips. Soft grip handle with moulded inserts.
