Stripped or stubborn fasteners demand the right driver geometry, and the Draper 34253 TX-STAR® and TX-STAR® Security Soft Grip Screwdriver Set provides a precise fit across eleven commonly required torx sizes. Each blade is manufactured from chrome vanadium steel, hardened and tempered for durability, with a satin chrome plated finish and sand blasted tips that seat firmly in the fastener recess to minimise cam-out. The set is divided into two groups: four TX-STAR® insert bits covering sizes T6, T7, T8 and T9, and seven TX-STAR® tamperproof insert bits covering T10T, T15T, T20T, T25T, T27T, T30T and T40T. The tamperproof bits are designed to engage the central pin found in security fasteners, extending the range of applications into automotive, electronics and equipment maintenance tasks where standard torx drivers cannot be used. All eleven bits are paired with a soft grip handle featuring moulded inserts, providing a comfortable and controlled grip during both low-torque precision work and higher-force applications. The satin chrome finish resists corrosion and keeps the set presentable in a professional workshop environment.
