The Draper 13486 Pound Thru Soft Grip Screwdriver Set is engineered precisely for this challenge, with hexagonal blades that extend fully through the handle to deliver maximum strength under impact. An integrated shock-absorbing impact cap at the rear of each handle allows the screwdriver to be struck safely with a hammer, making the set equally suited to fastening, chiselling, and loosening seized screws. The blades are manufactured from hardened chrome vanadium steel and chrome plated throughout for corrosion resistance. Blade tips carry an additional black phosphate coating for enhanced durability, and each tip is magnetised to retain the screw securely, allowing more accurate force delivery and precise control during both fastening and loosening operations. Each screwdriver is fitted with an ergonomic soft grip comfort handle incorporating drive type colour identification for instant tip recognition at a glance. The handle profile is shaped to prevent the tool rolling off flat workshop surfaces. The set contains three screwdrivers: two 125 mm models tipped PH2 and PZ2 respectively, and one 150 mm model tipped SL6.5, covering the most common cross-head and slotted fastener types encountered in professional workshop and maintenance work.
