Achieving a clean, precise cut on second fix carpentry work demands a saw blade that combines sharpness, rigidity and controlled tooth geometry. The Draper Expert Supercut® Second Fix Triple Ground Handsaw addresses this with blades manufactured from 1mm thick T10 high-quality carbon steel that is hardened and stress relieved to ensure straightness throughout use. The razor-sharp teeth are induction hardened and triple ground, enabling a fast cut on both the front and back stroke whilst promoting optimal sawdust removal. A tough lacquer coating is applied to the blade to prevent corrosion and reduce friction during the cut, extending working life and easing progress through the material. Marking out is supported by integrated 45° and 90° angle guides on the blade, removing the need for a separate square during layout. The slip-resistant soft grip handle is exclusively designed for Draper and is ultrasonic welded for structural stability and strength, providing confident control throughout the cutting stroke. A hang hole is included for convenient workshop or van storage. With a 550mm (22") blade length and a tooth configuration of 11tpi/12ppi, this saw is well suited to the fine, accurate work characteristic of second fix joinery and finishing tasks.
