The blade is produced from 1mm thick T10 high-quality carbon steel, hardened and stress relieved to ensure consistent straightness throughout its working life. A tough lacquer coating resists corrosion and reduces friction during the cut. The razor-sharp teeth are induction hardened and triple ground, enabling a fast cut on both the forward and back stroke while promoting optimal sawdust removal. At 500mm in length with 11tpi/12ppi tooth configuration, the saw is suited to fine second fix work where a smooth, controlled finish is essential. Built-in 45° and 90° angle guides assist with accurate marking out before cutting begins. The slip-resistant soft grip handle is exclusively designed for Draper and is ultrasonic welded to the blade for structural stability and long-term strength. A hang hole is included for convenient workshop or van storage. This handsaw is part of the Draper Expert range, recognised for professional-grade construction and reliable performance on site.
