Keeping a cut true and controlled across first fix timber demands a blade that holds its geometry and sharpness under sustained use. The Draper Expert Supercut® handsaw addresses this with a blade manufactured from 1mm thick T10 high-quality carbon steel that is hardened and stress relieved to ensure straightness throughout its working life. A tough lacquer coating is applied to prevent corrosion and ease friction as the saw moves through the cut. The teeth are induction hardened and triple ground, enabling a fast cut on both the front and back stroke whilst promoting optimal sawdust removal to keep the kerf clear. At 550mm (22 inches) in length and ground to 7tpi/8ppi, the blade is proportioned for efficient first fix work. Built-in 45° and 90° angle guides assist with marking out cuts directly on the workpiece. The slip-resistant soft grip handle is exclusively designed for Draper and is ultrasonic welded to the blade for stability and strength during prolonged use. A hang hole is incorporated for straightforward workshop or van storage. The Supercut® designation denotes the hardened triple ground tooth form throughout this range of Draper Expert blades.
