Achieving secure, confident grip on fasteners, cables and pipework demands tools engineered for leverage rather than brute force. The Draper Expert 3-piece high leverage pliers set addresses this directly through a high leverage rivet design that enhances both grip and cutting power whilst requiring measurably less effort from the user. All three pieces are manufactured from hardened and tempered drop forged chrome vanadium steel — a material choice that delivers the strength and durability demanded by professional workshop and site environments. The jaws are precision machined with induction hardened cutting edges, providing extra grip and accuracy across a range of applications. Heads are finely ground and finished with black oxide and electrophoretic plating, delivering superior corrosion resistance in demanding conditions. The ergonomic soft grip handles are designed to reduce effort and fatigue during extended use, providing a secure and comfortable grip throughout. The set comprises three tools: 190mm high leverage side cutters, 200mm high leverage combination pliers, and 250mm water pump pliers — covering cutting, gripping and pipe work tasks within a single coordinated set. This combination makes the Draper Expert 28536 a well-considered selection for professional technicians and tradespeople who require versatile, high-performance hand tools built to Draper Expert standards.
