Removing paint, rust, burrs, dirt from metal surfaces or marks from brick and stone demands equipment that can reach awkward locations without the constraint of a fixed cabinet. The Draper 53008 Portable Air Shot Blasting Kit addresses that need with a lightweight, compact design that is easy to position and move around the workshop or on site. The kit is built around a large-capacity 22 kg hopper fitted with a carry handle for easy relocation, while integral hose storage keeps the work area organised between uses. Media is delivered through a 4.5 m PVC grit hose connected to the supplied shot blasting gun, giving the operator meaningful stand-off distance from the workpiece. A 1/4" BSP connector ensures straightforward attachment to a compatible air supply. Operating pressure ranges from 50 to 120 psi, making the kit dependent on an external air compressor or air supply — not included. The connection standard is 1/4" BSP, and the net weight of the unit itself is 2 kg, keeping the assembly genuinely portable. Hose length is 4.5 m. The kit is supplied complete and ready to connect: one portable shot blasting kit comprising the hopper assembly, 4.5 m PVC grit hose, shot blasting gun, and 1/4" BSP connector. No additional blasting hardware is required to begin operation once a suitable air supply is available. For workshops and vehicle restoration professionals who need flexible surface preparation without a dedicated blast cabinet, the Draper 53008 delivers a contained, portable solution that covers metals, brick and stone in a single kit.
Lightweight, compact and portable shot blasting kit. Suitable for the removal of paint, rust, burrs, dirt from metals and marks from brick and stone. Large capacity hopper fitted with carry handle and integral hose storage. Includes PVC 4.5m grit hose. Supplied with shot blasting gun and 1/4" BSP connector.
