Handling a gearbox safely without the right equipment is a two-person job at best and a serious injury risk at worst. The Sealey 500ETJ transmission jack takes that risk out of the equation with a hydraulic vertical lift rated to 500kg, designed specifically for workshop use. A high-speed lift mechanism lets you raise the gearbox quickly by operating the lift piston directly, while foot pedal operation keeps both hands free to guide and position the load. The spring-loaded dead man's safety release control reduces the risk of inadvertent lowering, giving you reliable control throughout the lift. The saddle adjusts between a minimum height of 1075mm and a maximum of 1895mm via a single ram extension. The unit sits on castors for easy manoeuvrability around the workshop bay. Manufactured to exacting standards for general workshop applications. The fixed saddle can be upgraded with the optional ADT7 Adjustable Gearbox Support (sold separately) for additional load control. Base size is 535 x 585mm.
