Removing or refitting a gearbox without the right support is slow, difficult and potentially dangerous. The Sealey 300ETJ is an economy hydraulic transmission jack with a 300kg capacity, designed to lift and hold a gearbox securely while keeping your hands free throughout. The high-speed lift mechanism raises the piston quickly by simply lifting it, speeding up the job. Foot pedal operation means you can control the lift without letting go of the gearbox, and a spring-loaded dead man's safety release control reduces the risk of accidental lowering. The jack rides on castors for easy manoeuvrability around the workshop. The fixed saddle reaches a maximum height of 1895mm and a minimum of 1075mm, with a base size of 535 x 585mm and a single ram extension. Built to exacting standards for general workshop use, this unit is slightly smaller than other models in the Sealey transmission jack range. The optional ADT7 Adjustable Gearbox Support can be fitted see specification for details. Backed by a 1-year guarantee in addition to your statutory rights; guarantee excludes general wear, tear and misuse.
