Removing a fuel tank or transmission without the right equipment is a slow, hazardous job that risks damage to the component and injury to the technician. The Sealey FTC500COMBO pairs the 500TTJ 500kg vertical telescopic transmission jack with the FTC01 fuel tank cradle adaptor, giving automotive and light commercial workshops a single, versatile solution for both tasks. The two-stage telescopic ram reduces clearance requirements, while the high-speed lift function minimises foot pumps needed when unladen, then slows automatically under load for precision control. Foot pedal operation keeps both hands free for fixings and adjustments. A spring-loaded dead man's safety release control reduces the risk of inadvertent lowering. The saddle height adjusts between 890mm and 1875mm, tilts forward 28° and backward 22°, and moves 65mm left to right, accommodating a wide range of vehicle configurations. Four adjustable support arms with rubber pads handle fuel tanks up to 40 gallons capacity the tank must be emptied before handling. Two load restraint straps are included. The FTC01 cradle adaptor fits and removes from the transmission jack with ease. Note: this item is heavy and extra assistance must be provided at the delivery point to help its safe delivery.
