Reciprocating air hammers place considerable strain on the operator during extended use, so Draper has engineered the 65142 with a composite body that combines rugged durability with a total weight of just 1.1kg. The low noise, low vibration and low weight characteristics work together to deliver maximum user comfort and performance, while the ergonomic design and lightweight housing assist in the prevention of the cold-sink effect during prolonged operation. The tool operates at 4,500 blows per minute with a 43mm stroke length, requiring an operating air pressure of 90psi (6.2bar) and an average air consumption of 4.0cfm (114L/min). The air inlet accepts a 1/4" BSP fitting, and a minimum hose size of 3/8" (10mm) is required. The chisel shank diameter is 10.18mm. This seven-piece kit is supplied with a practical range of accessories to cover common workshop and bodywork tasks: one air hammer, three chisels (including a spot weld breaker chisel, ripping chisel, and tailpipe cutter chisel), one taper punch, one chisel retaining spring, one mini oiler, and one 1/4" BSP nipple.
