Accessing fasteners in confined or awkwardly angled spaces is a common workshop challenge. The Draper Expert 16734 Wobble Extension Bar addresses this by incorporating a machined wobble end that allows the socket to be driven at up to 15° to the vertical, giving the user the flexibility to work at angles that a standard rigid extension bar cannot accommodate. Manufactured from chrome vanadium steel that has been hardened, tempered, and finished with a polished chrome plating, the bar is built for durability and corrosion resistance. A knurled ring is machined onto the bar to provide a positive, secure grip when attaching or removing the extension from the drive chain. Socket retention is handled by a spring-loaded ball bearing, which holds the socket firmly in place during use and prevents it from dropping in hard-to-reach locations. This 3/8" square drive extension bar measures 45mm in length and is manufactured and tested generally in accordance with DIN 3122 and ISO 3315 specifications. Supplied as a single bar, it is a straightforward addition to any 3/8" drive socket set where access and angle are limiting factors.
