The socket end is fitted with a rubber insert that protects the spark plug insulator from damage during removal and installation, and also retains the plug within the socket for easier single-handed operation. An integral tommy bar is supplied, allowing the required torque to be applied without the need for a separate handle or drive tool. Sized at 14 x 300mm, this wrench suits 14mm spark plugs and provides 300mm of reach into the engine block. It is supplied display packed and is suitable for professional workshop use and competent DIY servicing on petrol engines where spark plugs are deeply recessed.
