Maintaining reliable power across a workshop or site can be challenging when fixed sockets are out of reach. The Defender E85222 230V extension lead addresses this with a 14-metre cable rated at 13A and 230V, providing reach for a wide range of power tool and lighting applications. Its blue colouring ensures high visibility on busy sites, and the lightweight construction offers a practical alternative to a cable reel without compromising on durability. The 1.5mm² cable is built to perform at low temperatures, making it suitable for year-round use in varying conditions. Ingress protection is rated at IP44, confirming resistance to solid particle ingress and water splashing from any direction — appropriate for the demands of professional site and workshop environments. The cable meets BSEN 50525-2-11 and carries VDE approval, reflecting compliance with recognised electrical safety standards. Each lead is tested on site for usability, durability and reliability before leaving the factory. Whether deployed alongside power tools, task lighting, or other 230V equipment, the Defender E85222 delivers a dependable, industry-standard solution for extended power runs.
