When a flat battery leaves a vehicle stranded, you need a jump starter capable of handling both light and heavy-duty applications. The Sealey RS105 RoadStart® Emergency Jump Starter delivers 3200 peak amps at 12V and 1600 peak amps at 24V, with cold cranking amps of 1000A at 12V and 500A at 24V. It is suitable for starting 12V vehicles with 8-cylinder petrol engines up to 6L and 8-cylinder diesel engines up to 4.8L, and 24V vehicles with 6-cylinder petrol engines up to 3.5L and 6-cylinder diesel engines up to 3L. Two internal batteries connect in parallel or series to match the required output voltage, giving high peak and cranking currents for reliable starts. The 1.8m cable and clamp length provides a comfortable reach around any engine bay. A composite case with integral battery clip storage and carry handle keeps everything together and protected. LED battery condition indicators and a test button give a clear indication of battery status before use. A low voltage switch is fitted for use when on 24V system recharge, allowing connection to a battery producing less than 1V. A 12V power socket accepts any standard vehicle accessory socket plug, and a mains charger is supplied to keep the unit ready.
