A flat or sulphated battery can bring a vehicle or piece of equipment to a complete standstill. The Sealey SBC6 is a fully automatic 12V 3-stage battery charger and maintainer rated at 6A output, capable of charging and maintaining VRLA (Lead Acid), GEL, AGM/EFB, and Leisure batteries on 12V systems. Its zero-volt charging function means it can recover and charge a completely discharged battery, provided any load has been removed from the battery first. A built-in sulfation repair function helps restore batteries that have degraded through prolonged neglect. The SBC6 suits batteries in the 40-100Ah range, making it practical for cars, motorcycles, leisure vehicles, and workshop equipment. Once charging is complete, the auto-shut-off maintenance function keeps the battery in optimum condition without the risk of overcharging. Protection against reverse polarity, short circuit, over temperature, over voltage, and overcharging is built in. An IP33-rated enclosure offers resistance to dust and light moisture. Easy-to-read LED indicators display power status and charging stages at a glance. The unit runs from a 230V supply, with a 1m cable and clamp length, and measures 150 x 69 x 42mm. Supplied with a 2-year guarantee.
