Moving a partly dismantled, badly damaged, or heavy vehicle around a workshop safely is a genuine challenge without the right equipment. The Sealey VMD002 is a heavy-duty 4-post vehicle moving dolly with a 900kg capacity, designed for exactly this job. Its heavy-duty steel frame is fully adjustable in both length and width from 1150mm to 1750mm in length and 680mm to 1280mm in width allowing it to be configured to suit different vehicle sizes. Height is also adjustable between 400mm and 520mm. Three types of interchangeable, height-adjustable supports are included: rubber support pads, shallow crutches, and deep crutches, giving flexibility across different vehicle profiles. Four 200mm nylon locking castors allow smooth and safe movement around the workshop or bodyshop. The VMD002 is also confirmed suitable for supporting and moving electric vehicle battery units, making it a practical choice in workshops handling EVs.
