A 'quick-lift' foot pedal rapidly raises the saddle to the vehicle jacking point, reducing the time spent under the vehicle. The large 130 mm diameter saddle aids accurate positioning, and the T-shaped handle incorporates a release valve that prevents accidental lowering during use. A locking facility allows the handle to be secured in three positions to suit the operator's preference, while a safety valve prevents the jack from being overloaded beyond its rated capacity. Rear swivelling castors combined with a toe plate give the long chassis excellent manoeuvrability in tight workshop spaces, despite the unit's substantial 1,390 mm chassis length. The jack raises from a minimum height of 140 mm to a maximum of 620 mm, accommodating a wide range of vehicle ground clearances. The 1,220 mm handle provides good leverage, and the unit is supplied with a one-piece handle as standard. Packed in a robust plastic tube for storage and transport, the Draper 3463 arrives ready for immediate workshop deployment.
