The Draper 89156 230V Planer Thicknesser addresses these requirements with a 2,000W motor fitted with overload protection, delivering a cutter head speed of 8,000rpm for highly efficient cutting performance across a planing width of 330mm and a planing height range of 6–160mm. Maximum planing depth per pass is 3mm, and the machine feeds material at 6m/min, enabling it to handle large workpieces in a productive workflow. A roller mounted on the top of the machine provides easy return of the workpiece to the front for the next pass, removing the need for the operator to walk around the machine repeatedly. The anti-kickback mechanism enhances user safety by eliminating the chance of material being ejected toward the user during operation. A dust extraction port is fitted to help keep the workspace clear during extended use. The working table measures 330 x 290mm, and the machine is equipped with two blades. A blade setting jig is supplied to assist with accurate blade installation. The machine weighs 27.5kg and has exterior dimensions of W 525 x H 696 x D 480mm. Four rubber feet provide stable positioning on the workshop floor or bench. Supplied complete with a depth adjustment handle, hex key, open wrench, blade setting jig and four rubber feet.
