When workshop space is limited but you need the capability to turn, drill, and mill, a single-purpose machine simply will not do. The Sealey SM2503 Mini Lathe and Drilling Machine is a bench-mounting multifunction unit combining a lathe, drill, and mill in one compact machine. Two independent 150W motors power the separate functions one drives the drill and mill, the other powers the lathe so both can be optimised without compromise. The lathe spindle runs at variable speeds from 100-2000rpm with a swing over bed of 140mm and a distance between centres of 250mm. The lathe cutting feed can be power driven or advanced manually, and thread cutting is supported via an optional thread cutting kit, with five metric thread pitches available (0.5-1.25mm). The drilling and milling head offers a maximum capacity of 10mm with a spindle speed range of 100-1300rpm and a spindle travel of 30mm, with 180mm distance from spindle to table. An 8mm T-slot table enables secure workpiece clamping, and metric graduated scales are fitted throughout. Supplied with all tools necessary for setting and adjusting. An optional stand is available, order Model No. SM3002ST.
