A. The 70058 cuts any electrically conductive material including mild steel, stainless steel, aluminium, copper, and brass. Maximum cut capacity is 15mm. It cannot cut non-conductive materials such as wood, plastic, or ceramics.
A. The 70058 requires a 230V supply. If you are unsure whether your supply is adequate, consult a qualified electrician before installation.
A. The 70058 has a duty cycle of 60% @60A 100% @40A. Duty cycle is measured over a 10-minute period — a 60% duty cycle means 6 minutes of continuous welding followed by a 4-minute cool-down. Operating at lower amperages increases available run time.
