Cutting metal accurately and safely in a busy workshop particularly when dealing with long stock or working in confined spaces demands a machine that is both reliable and well-engineered. The Sealey SM65 is a 230V metal cutting bandsaw with a 375W motor, offering cutting capacities of up to 105mm round or 105 x 150mm square and rectangular section at 90°, and 100mm round or 85 x 65mm square and rectangular section at 45°. Three selectable blade speeds of 18, 30, and 48m/min allow you to match the cut to the material. The swivel arm facility means long pieces of stock can be angle-cut even in a confined workspace. The quick-action vice locks the workpiece securely with a single pull of the cam-action lever simply push the jaw to the workpiece and lock. Fully adjustable precision blade guides support accurate cutting and extend blade life, while the oil-bath gearbox and life-lubricated drive bearings deliver quiet, smooth operation. A magnetic no-load voltage switch prevents motor restart after a power failure or blade jam, and the blade is fully guarded throughout. Supplied with anti-vibration feet and a workshop stand. Blade size: 1638 x 13 x 0.63mm. Weight: 60kg. CE approved and fully compliant with the Machinery Safety Directive.
