Cutting metal stock accurately and safely requires a bandsaw that controls blade descent as carefully as it controls the cut itself. The Sealey SM35CE 300mm Horizontal Bandsaw features a hydraulically damped saw arm that prevents the arm dropping onto the workpiece, ensuring smooth, consistent cutting performance throughout every pass. Powered by a 750W heavy-duty single-phase motor on a 230V supply, the SM35CE offers a cutting capacity of 180mm diameter round or 180 x 300mm square and rectangular section at 90°, reducing to 100mm diameter round or 110 x 170mm square and rectangular at 45°. Four blade speeds 34, 41, 59, and 98 metres per minute allow you to match cutting speed to material. The blade measures 2360 x 19 x 0.9mm and the machine is supplied with a bi-metal blade as standard. A coolant fluid system is fitted, with coolant and main power controls switched on individual circuits for safety and convenience. The SM35CE is fully CE approved and manufactured to comply with Safety of Machinery (Safety) Directives 1992 and amendments. Please note: this machine weighs 138kg extra assistance must be provided at the delivery point to ensure safe unloading.
